Hungry for more? Let’s dig in!

DS2_7177We have found a calm Japanese-style oasis in the middle of Toronto’s financial district. Ninki Sushi and Sake Lounge was revamped and reopened in the summer of 2017 in the PATH pedestrian walkway at Scotia Plaza. Since then, the restaurant has provided a unique Japanese dining experience that you can’t find anywhere else downtown.

Come down from busy King Street and Ninki Sushi will welcome you into a large, relaxed dining area, where you can comfortably unwind as if you are in a lounge—as the name suggests. Aside from regular favourites such as sushi, sashimi and tempura, Ninki Sushi also offers Japanese fusion items to satisfy the various tastes of Toronto’s multicultural customers.

The chefs select the freshest items of the season for their dishes, and sauces and dressings are mostly handmade in the kitchen. There is no compromise at Ninki Sushi.

DS2_7163What makes Ninki Sushi stand out is not only its food, but also the large selection of liquors. There are about 15 kinds of Japanese sake alongside plum wine, shochu (a traditional hard liquor, similar to vodka), beer, wine and whisky. You can enjoy your drink straight or on the rocks, with enough variety in the selection to be paired with any choice of meal. Even better for busy workers in the area, almost all food items from the menu can be served for take-out, including bento boxes, making a quick and easy lunch or dinner.

Ninki Sushi is also recommended for a great night out with friends after a busy week. With fresh, carefully selected ingredients and an awesome atmosphere, Ninki Sushi assures you a wonderful Japanese culinary experience.
